Leisure Centre,Shotts

North Lanarkshire Council awarded GHI the contract to alter and adapt the existing Squash Court, Main Hall and Store room, of this sports facility, into a new gymnasium, aerobics and weight training area, over two levels.

The works included forming a new steel-framed floor, as well as internal partitioning, floor, wall and ceiling finishes, and all decoration. Additionally, new secure zones were created for the fire exits and full mechanical and electrical services were provided.

This project is the latest of several for NLC, with which GHI have been involved and continues a series of regular work for Scottish Local Authorities.
