The works involved the internal strip out, refurbishment and remodelling to ‘Cat A’ standard, complete with the construction of a new entrance lobby extension. GHI carried out the works across three floors of the building.

The scope was to create a fresh, new quality office space that would meet the business needs of the new tenants, while working to an active, sustainable design brief that would help achieve energy savings.

The works were phased to allow for continued occupation of the live businesses in the building.

Following the success of this project, GHI were appointed to undertake the Cat B fit-out for a public sector organisation, which occupies two floors of the building.

The fully refurbished building has now achieved “Grade A” institutionally acceptable commercial office standard, a BREEAM “Very Good” rating, and an EPC “B” rating.
